Ireland is still one of the most photogenic places on our planet. I was raised by a mother whose roots were in County Clare and whose heart had a romantic affinity for the “Auld Sod”. Consequently, I inherited her romantic relationship with that small green island. I have made several photographic excursions there and have a large quantity of images that capture the historical beauty of Ireland. That history includes much of Ireland’s Medieval monuments, and thus the title “Ireland in Ruins”. This gallery contains some of what I consider my best images of those monuments and other aspects of Irish beauty.
